Repeater Update

The K2RWC repeater has had a full system failure. This combined with a better performing stand-alone repeater in the same area and the approval of additional users being added to the rooftop has resulted in the decision to not restore the K2RWC repeater. We will be working with Roberts’ Facilities over the new few weeks to remove all equipment used for the repeater.

The WR2AHL team has graciously offered use of the WR2AHL 146.760MHz repeater for use by the Westside Amateur Radio Club. We will be moving our Echolink connection and providing a web audio stream very shortly. This repeater also lives in Chili, NY and has slightly better performance over the K2RWC repeater. It is on a taller tower at a sight that also has full time emergency backup power.
